The horse for centuries has been very important animal in the lives of many people as means of transport, a faithful companion and friend, a partner in the sports, as well as prestigious entertainment. Lately the Equestrian sport has been becoming more and more popular in the World and also Latvia, attracting interest of many spectators to the events organised by Young Riders School.
Latvian Horse Days is one of the most important events of Young Riders School that has already become our tradition; in 2011 it will take place for the fourth consecutive year. This year Young Riders School is planning to host for the second year the prestigious international competitions recognised by International Equestrian Federation (FEI) as FEI CSI1* Baltic Riders Tour 2011 Latvia part that will take place also in Estonia, Lithuania and Saint Petersburg. This event will be reported broadly in different local and foreign media.
The Project of Young Riders School is intended to be one of the most modern and leading sports centres in the Eastern Europe. At the moment the Sports Centre boasts with two World-class riding arenas with platform with seats for 800 spectators and VIP lounge for 200 persons, as well as summer stables that allow us to organise high-level competitions. In continuation of the Project it is planned to construct all-season stables and an indoor riding arena for organising trainings and competitions at any climatic and weather conditions all year round. Ministry of Finance has granted status of public benefit organisation to Young Riders School that enable enterprises to receive tax rebate of the profit tax when donating means for the equestrian sport, in accordance with Section 20 of Law on Enterprise Income Tax.
